Sarah Hesz and Katie Massie-Taylor created the app ‘Mush’ in 2016. ‘Mush’ lets local parents swipe right and match to chat, swap and sell items. Mums are no longer alone! Monzo just made it easy for you to track your spending. The company offer pre-paid cards connected to an app, which analyses and tracks your spending habits. Wait, there’s more – the startup was granted a full banking licence in April 2017 and has managed to raise £19.5 million in a Series C funding round. Starship Technologies, Mush, and Monzo are only three of hundreds of startups in London. It is safe to say that London is the place to be for a startup, with extensive opportunities for all ideas. With that being said, it is near impossible to know what the next big thing will be. We’re excited to find out though!
